Impact from high stress levels brought on by our busy lives can create tension within our bodies. This tension often reveals itself through our relational lives, creating distance, control patterns, or lack of patience. The continuous release of cortisol within our body can have detrimental consequences to our mental and physical health, leaving us with adrenal fatigue and unwanted inflammation. This can prevent us from ever feeling fully rested. By allowing ourselves a retreat that is designed to create space for our bodies to rest, we can awaken our parasympathetic nervous system and remember how to relax and recharge at the deepest level. Through this process we can gain a stronger understanding of our individually unique nervous system patterns so we are more equipped to continue to care for ourselves in the midst of a full life.

  • Evening is free but suggested activities include walking, art (supplies provided), journaling, meditation (guided meditation provided). This can be modified for individual needs.
  • All meals for retreats are provided by local restaurants and caterers. We can accommodate most dietary needs.

Location Options

Retreats are hosted in Springfield, MO at a comfortable AirBnB where all retreat services come to you. You can also stay at a country location on a beautiful Equine Farm in Rogersville, MO. No matter where you choose to stay all services and meals will be provided to you on location so you can be focused on your healing process.

Lead Clinician

I’m Kelsey, an Embodiment Teacher specializing in movement therapy, meditation, and breathwork. I use the body as a model of how we interact with the world and in relationships with others. Often we hear mind and body discussed as if they are two separate things but from a neurobiological perspective they are completely intertwined. That means we can engage with body as a way to shift our perspectives and experiences in the rest of our life.
