Welcome to connectbeyondhealing.com (the “Site”), operated by Beyond Healing Center, LLC d/b/a Beyond Healing Institute (“Beyond Healing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site and any content, programs, courses, communities, events, coaching/consultation, and related services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or Services.

2) Scope; therapy clients & HIPAA
This Policy covers the Site and non-clinical Services (e.g., courses, communities, newsletters, consulting).
Clinical services (therapy) are governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) provided through our client portal; do not share Protected Health Information (PHI) through public forms, email, chat, or community posts. If you need the NPP, contact [email protected]
3) What we collect
We collect information in three ways: you provide it, it’s collected automatically, or we get it from third parties.
Information you provide

Registration & purchases: program selections, CE details, accommodations, survey responses; payment information is processed by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe)—we do not store full card numbers.

4) How we use information (purposes)

5) SMS (A2P 10DLC) & email communications
If you opt in to SMS: Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. We keep opt-in/opt-out logs as required.
Marketing emails include an Unsubscribe link. You may still receive transactional messages (e.g., receipts, schedule changes).
6) Cookies & tracking technologies

8) Data retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined, including: program and certificate records, tax/accounting requirements, consent logs, and dispute resolution. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to our schedules.
9) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information (encryption in transit, access controls, staff training). No system is perfectly secure; please use strong passwords and avoid sending sensitive information over unsecured channels.
10) Your privacy choices & rights
Opt out of marketing: use the Unsubscribe link in emails; reply STOP to SMS.
Cookies/Advertising: use our cookie banner, browser settings, or GPC.
California/Colorado/Connecticut/Virginia/Utah residents (and similar laws):
You may request to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale/share of personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. We do not knowingly sell/share data of consumers under 16.
EEA/UK residents:
You may access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or port your data, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
How to submit a request: email [email protected] with your name, the request type, and the email/phone you used with us. We may verify identity before acting. You can also use the link “Your Privacy Choices” (if provided on the Site) to manage opt-outs.
11) Children’s privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
12) International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information here and in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
13) Third-party links & embedded content
The Site may link to or embed third-party content (e.g., YouTube, podcasts, social media). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, and their cookies may load when you view or interact with them.
14) Do Not Track
Some browsers send Do Not Track (DNT) signals; we currently do not respond to DNT. We do recognize GPC where applicable.
15) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the Site and/or via email. Your continued use signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
16) California “Notice at Collection” (summary)
We collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP), customer records (billing details—processed by our payment processor), commercial information (purchases, registrations), internet/usage data, geolocation (approximate), professional info (role/license if you provide it), and in limited cases user-generated content.
Purposes: the uses listed in Section 4.
Sources: you, your devices, and our service providers/partners.
Retention: as described in Section 8.
Sale/Share: we do not sell for money; we may “share” for advertising unless you opt out.
