Rachel Cagle, LPC, SEP

Psychotherapist, EMDR Consultant, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner

About Rachel

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing grows through authentic human connection. I aim to offer a compassionate, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences and move forward in a way that feels right for you. My approach is relational and informed by attachment theory and somatic therapy, honoring how our life experiences are held both emotionally and within the body. I work collaboratively with clients, respecting their individual pace and inner wisdom while building a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, attunement, and genuine care. I incorporate EMDR and Somatic Experiencing® to support nervous system regulation, deepen emotional resilience, and facilitate lasting, meaningful change.

I also specialize in supporting women who are navigating perimenopause, menopause, or who want to better understand their hormonal cycle and its impact on mood, identity, and overall well-being. These transitions can bring meaningful physical and emotional changes, and I am passionate about helping women feel informed, supported, and more deeply connected to their bodies. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, balance, and a renewed sense of self.

Consultant

With over five years of experience utilizing EMDR therapy, I specialize in integrating somatic approaches into trauma processing. My training in Somatic Integration and Processing (SIP) and Somatic Experiencing® informs my work with clinicians seeking to deepen their understanding of the mind-body connection in therapy.

As a consultant, I support clinicians in developing their confidence with EMDR case conceptualization, tracking somatic information in session, and using bottom-up interventions to facilitate trauma healing. My approach emphasizes attunement, nervous system regulation, and interoceptive awareness, helping therapists expand their skills in working with complex trauma.

I offer individual and group consultation for therapists looking to refine their EMDR practice and enhance their ability to integrate somatic principles into their work.
