About Caleb
As a therapist with Beyond Healing Center, I have a passion for integrating body-based, nervous system-informed, and developmentally sensitive interventions into my clinical practice to help clients recognize the adaptability of their mind and the profound potential for healing. I graduated from Evangel University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing EMDR for over five years, alongside other trauma-focused therapy approaches.
My work is deeply rooted in somatic psychology, relational neuroscience, and attachment-informed therapy, helping clients process trauma with a holistic, mind-body approach. I believe that healing happens in relationship—both with ourselves and with those around us—and I strive to create an environment of safety, curiosity, and empowerment in every session.
Consultant & Educator
Beyond my work as a clinician, I am dedicated to supporting EMDR therapists in developing confidence, clinical skill, and somatic attunement in their practice. As a co-author of Somatic Integration and Processing I & II and Body in Mind, my work focuses on integrating somatic principles, polyvagal theory, and developmental neuroscience into trauma treatment. I am also the host of The Evidence Based Therapist podcast and SomaPsyche, where I explore the intersections of science, psychotherapy, and the healing arts.
I offer individual and group consultation for therapists looking to refine their approach to EMDR, case conceptualization, and somatic integration. My consultation style emphasizes tracking the body’s signals, nervous system regulation, and deepening therapeutic presence, helping clinicians bring greater depth and effectiveness to their trauma work.
